Personnel Profiles, Inc. has specialized in on-site evaluations for more than 40 years. During that time, the company has streamlined its processes to provide the highest quality evaluations at an affordable price. Personnel Profiles has a large shopper network with national market coverage.
Highly-trained staff members are involved in every evaluation, including an account manager, scheduler, shopper, evaluator, quality control reviewer and an executive.
Harold Sharp was the first in the industry to develop a score card to measure the critical path for selling new homes. He worked closely with industry giants such as the late, great Dave Stone. Our first mystery shopping form can be seen in Mr. Stone’s “New Home Marketing” first published in the 1970s. Mr. Sharp is alive and well, enjoying retirement in Costa Rica at the age of 92!
Corrine Bustamante has a degree in Mathematics from the University of California, San Diego. She serves as Account Manager and gives our customers the best of service. She also manages our evaluators and her attention to detail ensures that our reports and scoring are accurate. Corrine has been conducting shops since 1985 and has worked with Personnel Profiles for over 25 years.
Millie Couts was the face of Personnel Profiles and a pioneer for women in small business. She started with Harold Sharp in an office front off Crenshaw Blvd. in Gardena, California. When she physically moved to Huntington Beach, she took her typewriter, files and set up a telephone. Millie ran Personnel Profiles from her home for over 20 years – with analog technology – until her retirement in 1994.
Jenny Genger is known as our Quality Control Queen. She reviews every report, checks every word, and very little gets past her. Jenny holds a degree in Sociology from the University of Montana, Missoula. But her true expertise is as military wife and mother of four. Jenny keeps us organized, on track, follows up and follows through.
Kathy Kelly began as a shopper for Personnel Profiles in 1973. She purchased the company from Harold and Millie in 1991 and went to work modernizing its operations. With a home base in Colorado but clients mostly in California, Kathy embarked on a national marketing campaign that quickly took the company to include the top national builders. Kathy holds a degree in Religious Studies from the University of Colorado, Boulder. She is an active member with the International Federation of Business and Professional Women (BPW).
Jimmie Kelly is a retired software engineer who has worked on some of the most innovative projects of his generation, including cell phones, fighter jets and top-secret consultation to ISAF forces in Afghanistan. We depend on him for all things electronic and IT. He holds an Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Oklahoma and a Master’s from the University of Colorado.

Our company NEVER conducts mystery shops involving check cashing or money transfers. We NEVER ask shoppers to send us money. If someone posing as a representative of our company ever contacts you with a check, asking you to deposit it and wire money to anyone else, call us at 303-517-6399 before you try to cash the check. It’s almost certainly a scam!
